Association Française de Zootechnie

The AFZ publishes books and software in collaboration with other organisations.

Particularly, it co-authored with INRA in 2002-2004 the Tables of composition and nutritive value of feed materials. This book is now available in English, Spanish and Chinese

It also participates in the design and development of software, including:

• io-7 (since 1991): computerized feed table based on the data of the French Feed Database
  
• AmiPig (2001) : table of digestible amino acids for pigs, with INRA, Arvalis, Adisseo and Ajinomoto Eurolysine
• EvaPig (since 2008) : software for calculating the energy values, amino acid digestibilities and phosphorus digestibilities of pigs, with INRA and Ajinomoto Eurolysine
• PerfAgro (since 2006) : software for optimizing the technical, economic and environmental results of farms, with Cereopa.
