Prices and membership

The French Feed Database provides services to its members and to non-members.

Services

Services are charged at a daily rate. All prices below are in Euros, taxes not included.

The daily rate is 800€ for all services.
Access to FeedBase.com is limited to the free areas
Licenses for the io-7 software are priced as follows:
- 3800 € for the full version including all the raw materials (more than 2000 products).
- Versions containing a limited number of products (more than 400) are available on demand for 1500 €
- Updates cost 1500 € for the full version and 450 € for the limited version.

Any organisation can join the French Feed Database and become a member.

Members benefit from the following extended services

Free access to the FeedBase website.
Free io-7 software (and updates)
Free answering service for questions that do not require more than a half-day of search
Discount price for other services

There are three requirements for an organisation to become a member.

1. The member should provide data about feed composition and nutritional values.

The data should be original and consist of raw values obtained by the member in its laboratory or research station.
The member can choose what data it wants to give to the database, when it want to give them, and the transmission media. Once in the database, the data become anonymous: they can be forwarded to other members but without the name of the member who gave them.

2. Payment of an annual fee

There are two options:

Option 1: Entry fee of 7620 € + annual fee of 2136 € (in 2010). The entry fee is paid in 3 annual instalments.
Option 2: Annual fee of 3500 €, with an initial 3-year contract, without an entry fee.

The subscription rates are adjusted every year according to the SYNTEC Index (a French economic index).
