Spring conference 2007, 23 May 2007, AgroParisTech
The FAO recently published a report (Livestock’s Long Shadow) that presents livestock farming as a major cause for present and future environmental problems. This report created quite a stir and was widely taken up by the media. The AFZ thought relevant to organise a conference on the issues discussed in this report and on its conclusions and recommendations, that are of concern to all animal production specialists and agronomists.
